Our Teaser Trailer Idea

We have gone for a completely different genre from our AS opening due to wanting more of a challenge and to what sort of creations we can come up with (from action to drama). We have also decided to get actors outside of our group in order for us to concentrate on the production of the trailer in more detail rather than trying to do both at the same time.

The basic idea of our teaser trailer is going to be about a young boy who get's diagnosed with cancer at a very late stage therefore not being about to accept treatment as it is too late. This is going to be a dramatic / hard hitting type of teaser trailer. We are going to base it around a 8 year old boy (or similar age). Our teaser trailer will be hard hitting due to it relating to real life events, the statistics for someone who knows someone to have had cancer are quite high, therefore the audience will be drawn to the teaser trailer in more depth.

Due to the genre / idea of the film being hard hitting and that someone dies we have considered the audience to be 12/15 as the younger audience might not understand the concept of the film and due to the content that will be involved.
